Governance and Administrative Structure  
 
Given SAWF’s model of regional existence and governance, we have two offices

    Our Board of Directors consist of 7 Directors, representing both national concerns in the region and thematic expertise. They are activists, entrepreneurs, legal professionals and financial experts.

    Our Executive team is in the process of being strengthened. At present, it comprises the Executive Director, who is supported by the Programme Officer – Resources and Grants Management, Finance Manager, Executive Assistant and Finance Assistant.

    Incorporated in 2004, SAWF is a young and dynamic organization. In a short period of time it has implemented over 40 projects at the sub-national level in the region, ensuring human rights for a cross-section of women. For a brief history, please click here
