PUBLICATIONS
               
At present our focal countries are Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
SAWF has recently formulated a new strategic plan which has identified three main programme areas: Strengthening women’s voices, Grant-making, and Resource Mobilization. The strategic plan has been crafted to ensure flexibility and pro-activeness in our ability to respond to emerging issues and concerns.
 
     
 
 
  Grant-making
 
As an emerging philanthropic institution committed to supporting realization of human rights of women in the region, SAWF undertakes grant-making as well as providing technical support to women’s groups to promoting cutting-edge, critical and innovative initiatives. The grant-making portfolio includes:

      Resource Mobilization
     
    SAWF is committed to emerging as a sustainable philanthropic institution committed to women’s human rights. It will undertake;
     
  • Fund raising through traditional donors
  •  
  • Expand fund-base by encouraging indigenous philanthropy
  •  
  • Build strong advocacy strategies to ensure support for under-resourced and critical issues
  •  
  • It will develop collaborative work ethics and methodologies to ensure optimal use of resources.
  •    
      Strengthening Women’s Voices
     
    SAWF is committed to strengthening the women’s human rights movements in the region, and will support the building of Regional Feminist Human Rights Forum and processes that will address national and sub-national realities of women’s lives, and seek state accountability for it
